GTM Marketing Manager, Gaming

Project Overview:

The console business provides a unique and meaty opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the business. This role broadly supports go-to-market (GTM) execution across the business for product launches, game launches, sales and special offers, and sample orders. The GTM Marketing Manager will drive support for the marketing strategy of the product, execute outbound marketing plans for new product launches, and work closely with a broad set of partner teams for execution.

This role will require close partnerships with cross-functional teammates including Integrated Marketing, Category Marketing, Regional Marketing leads, Games Marketing, Retail Services, Finance, Brand, Store, PR, Events and more.

  • Product launch support
    • Support v-team to land product news and drive demand across all owned and operated (O&O) channels
    • Managing the collection, distribution, and maintenance of product assets and copy
    • Create and distribute new product launch kits to Regional Marketing teams, PR, Retail Services, etc.
    • Partner with teams on online retail toolkits, PR advisories/Q&As, and other marketing materials
  • Game marketing integration support
    • Support game GTM plans with console integrations
    • Track and monitor progress of asset development
    • Ensure seamless support across internal partner teams and owned channels
  • Sales and special offers support
    • Track and provide marketing support for sales and special offers
    • Support broader Black Friday v-team
    • Create, track, and activate sale related assets and campaign plans
    • Sample orders management
    • Place, track and process console sample orders across Xbox teams

This position demands a unique blend of marketing-support, project management, and ability to execute detailed plans. Organizational skills, a bias for action, and ability to communicate clearly are key requirements. Candidates must have the ability to simultaneously address multiple projects and challenges.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3-5 years of marketing or project management experience
  • Strong project management experience
  • Comfortable working with and managing cross functional v-teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Interest in hardware and gaming
  • Team player mind set
  • Game related sales
  • Hardware seeding and custom consoles (games moments)
