Project Coordinator, Gaming - 5715

Project Description:

Are you experienced in managing programs and eager to lead projects utilizing industry best practices and have a passion for gaming? One of our clients at Microsoft is seeking a Project Coordinator to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives on a gaming team.

Deliverables/Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity
  • Event coordination, facilitation, and logistics for partner hardware product
  • Maintain internal tools with most up-to-date info, support partner meeting logistics and travel coordination, manage gaming program presence, manage gaming consoles and controller inventory for partner distribution
  • Manage roadmap of proposed Licensed Products eligible for gaming company owned and operated marketing support
  • Lead internal partnership across various teams, including but not limited to, product and retail marketing, to plan and execute marketing activities across gaming company owned and operated channels, and at retail, for gaming company licensed products
  • Lead weekly multi-divisional staff meetings, and other meeting series and follow up with action item assignments for the larger team
  • Act as primary point of contact for the team with key internal partners such as: events, gaming website, gaming company global marketing, public relations, and other teams
  • Actively seeking out and operationalizing added value opportunities for partners such as introductions to enterprise technology company retail stores, or inclusion of partner products in various initiatives that drive visibility for third-party partners
  • Draft ongoing quarterly newsletters for distribution to internal and external partners, driving visibility for gaming company partner hardware program and collaboration opportunities for partners

Qualifications/Requirements:

The consultant should have the following skills, tools knowledge, education, and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibility, hands on experience with managing rhythm of business, communications, and exposure to executives
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated cross-discipline and cross-group collaboration, and a passion for driving a culture of collaboration
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Exceptional communication, project management skills, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (years of experience can be used in place of educational degree)
    • Strong analytic skills with experience using qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine customer needs and develop program strategies
    • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
    • Experience working with large enterprise technology companies
    • Passion for gaming
