Project Manager, Marketing & Communications - 5738

Project Description:

Are you experienced in managing projects and eager to lead projects utilizing industry best practices? One of our clients within Microsoft is seeking a Project Manager to work closely with various teams to empower them with investment, programs, and strategies to develop tactics that will drive business goals. They are looking for a strong Business Project Manager that will support the teams in achieving this goal.

The tasks, duties, and responsibilities commonly performed by the Project Manager are shown in the job description example below:


  • ROB (Rhythm of the Business) Project Management:
    • setting up the cadence of Rhythm of Business touch points and meetings (such as but not limited to Team meetings, Sales Performance Calls, Planning meetings, World-wide team check-in, Quarterly forecast rhythm)
    • build and coordinate calendar of Rhythm of Business and bring regular perspective for optimization
    • build and coordinate templates
    • coordinating the collection of content
    • managing the tool input and follow-up of open items
  • Back-timing Project Management of big rocks:
    • Setting up a cadence and back-timing for big projects such as a launch of a new product
    • Coordinate deliverables across teams and follow-up on deadlines
    • Build communication
  • Communications Project Management:
    • setting up the cadence of communications/newsletters (such as but not limited to: Quarterly/Weekly recaps, calendar, campaign reports)
    • build and coordinate templates
    • keep aliases and distribution list current
    • coordinating the collection of content across teams to input in the communication points
    • PowerPoint wizard that will update slides to adhere to company's legal and brand requirements
  • Repository Project Manager:
    • Bring structure to the different cross-team's content location
    • managing the share points and site structure
    • managing and keep current list of access
  • Support Lead:
    • Support upper management on day-to-day team's projects
    • Build and coordinate half-yearly team offsite
    • Initiate optimization and driver of simplification
