Senior Project Manager, Brand Rollout - 5842

Project Description

This is a full time, remote project management position in the Cloud Marketing Brand Strategy and Naming team.  This team has the responsibility for developing brand strategy, the naming of products and events, and ensuring successful implementation of brand updates.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, passionate and detail-oriented project manager, adept at clearing barriers and moving projects forward without sacrificing quality. In this role, you will plan, manage, and oversee multiple, multi-faced brand rollout projects. You'll be responsible for educating stakeholders about what and when brand refreshes are happening, disseminating resources and tools, and ensuring the successful implementation of brand updates across all channels. Additionally, you are responsible for the planning and execution of brand training sessions for all product brands.

To thrive in this position, you’ll need excellent project management skills, strategic thinking, relationship building, problem solving, and superior communication skills. You’re skilled at developing clear, concise, easily digestible plans from many disparate sources. You will work closely with internal marketing communications managers, business stakeholders, and brand strategy and design project managers. Personality-wise, you’re driven, agile, and unflappable, capable of juggling competing priorities with a sense of humor and grace.

Deliverables/Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of the brand rollout plan that encompasses brand development and implementation, and collaborating with business stakeholders to identify key milestones, developing timelines, and executing brand training.
  • Lead the communications out to business stakeholders about the brand rollout plan to ensure all stakeholders are knowledgeable about what and when the brand refresh is being rolled out and what to expect throughout the rollout process.
  • Flags any risk to the rollout plan to business owners and brand development workstream leads and identifies the impact and possible solutions to mitigate the risk.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and anticipate and collaborate with business owners and brand development workstream leads to make tradeoffs to balance the business needs versus strategic and/or creative constraints.
  • Build and maintain relationships with channel leads, collaborating with them to ensure successful implementation of brand refreshes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience/Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required; 5-7+ years of experience as a project manager.
  • Understands the creative process and the brand strategy development process. Microsoft experience a plus.
  • Accomplished presentation and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Skills: Agile thinker, team-oriented and solution-focused. Seasoned at managing multiple complex projects with high-level stakeholders simultaneously with a clear ability to work autonomously.
  • Role: This role is the bridge between brand development and brand implementation, collaborating with internal teams and business stakeholders to successfully implement product brand refreshes.
